Letek® by USG - the new line for innovative saddles

2. How do the Excellent and Hybrid models differ??

Hybrid saddles are a very good combination of traditional saddlery and modern saddle technology: with elegant leather on the top and easy-care synthetic material on the bottom side. The advantage: the elegant look, excellent fit and pleasant feel of a leather saddle, combined with an easy-care, robust and lightweight synthetic saddle that can be quickly and easily adapted to the horse using interchangeable gullets. And all this at a very good price-performance ratio!

Excellent: Full leather saddle with leather on the top and bottom side, leather panels and the same replaceable gullet plate system as the Hybrid model.

    4. How to adjust the Letek saddle?

The gullet plate changing system, with its five different widths, allows the saddle tree to be adjusted quickly and easily at any time. The saddle's padding consists of a wool core as standard and can therefore be individually adapted to the horse by the saddler using the tried and tested traditional method.

5. How should I care for a Letek saddle??

The Excellent models made of leather are traditionally cared for with saddle soap and leather grease.

The Hybrid models are traditionally cared for with saddle soap and leather grease on the upper side, but water with a little soap is sufficient for the parts made of synthetic material.

    
    6. Which horses suits Letek?

Letek saddles generally fit many horses of medium size and above. Depending on the model, they are available in seat sizes 17‘’ to 18‘’, the gullet width varies from extra narrow to extra wide (5 different widths in total). The gullet plate shapes can vary depending on the saddle type. 

    
    7. What riding style is Letek suitable for?

There is a saddle shape for each of the three classic disciplines: dressage, general purpose and jumping. The Letek saddle is also very suitable for leisure riders due to its comfort, high flexibility of fit and good price-performance ratio.
